SOLIDWORKS - KEYSHOT
DESIGN INTENT
I intend to learn the capabilities of SolidWorks and digital modelling, while expanding my personal skill set.
WHAT IS LUMINOSITY?
Luminosity is a collection of 3D modelled and rendered lamps, completed as a learning tool. Modelled in SolidWorks, these lamp designs were a great way to develop my skill set and explore my design style.
DEVELOPMENT
Luminosity is a project completed purely as a learning and exploration tool. While learning how to model designs through SolidWorks, I found that designing something that interests me was the best approach, allowing me to explore the capabilities of the tools and the endless possibilities that come from designing with the assistance of CAD.

Taking inspiration from designs that I find aesthetically pleasing, I modelled a collection of 4 lamps. Once these models were complete, I took them into KeyShot and played around with rendering for the first time.

Since completing this project, my CAD skills have grown significantly, but when looking back, I am grateful to have started the journey by creating something personal and tailored to my design interests.
