Hey!
My name is Drew Tosswill
And I'm an emerging designer with a strong desire to help others express themselves and to feel content within their spaces. I'm currently in my final stages of a Bachelor of Design, where I have majored in both Product and Interior Design.

Design, creativity and the art of making have played a significant role in my life for as long as I can remember. Whether it was attending art classes with my mum and aunties, competing in problem-solving competitions in school or drawing on the driveway while my dad was busy with his upholstery business in the shed, I was surrounded by creative and passionate people who have all played a role in getting me to where I am today.
Passions & Interests
Growing up in a family that loves camping, water and all things nature, I often find myself replicating patterns and shapes that can be found in nature, in my work. This is a practice that I really enjoy and helps me to feel connected with my designs. Looking away from form and back towards function, I have a passion for problem-solving and finding ways to make otherwise static objects multipurpose.
Career Focus
My interests in modularity and playing with both form and function have led me to desire a career in furniture design; however, product design is an extremely broad field of work. There are so many avenues to explore and so much to learn. I'm entering the world of design with an open mind, wanting to take any opportunities that come my way to expand on my skills and knowledge, and potentially fall in love with a stream of design that I'm yet to learn about or explore.​
